Friday night was the first week we had to deal with starters sitting out due to injury.  Wade Stinnett, leading receiver and linebacker, Devante Brooks, tailback and best cover corner, and Brenden Wright, leading tackler, all watched from the sidelines Friday.  Several player stepped up their game and more than made up for the lost starters.  DJ Martinak had 81 yards rushing and 150 passing, Jordon Michaux converted some key 3rd and 4th down conversions running like a senior that doesn't want the season to end.  Ben Carson and Winnie Clements made clutch catches throughout the second half and the defensive and offensive lines were simply dominate.  The score read 19-12 but the two scores by them were from a short field because of an interception and long kick return.  I think were dominated both sides of the ball.  This week's game vs. Monessen determines whether we finish in second and host a play-off game or we finish fourth and go on the road to a top seed.
